Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain accurate financial records and ensure timely data entry in accounting systems.
- Prepare journal entries, ledgers, balance sheets, and profit & loss statements.
- Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes efficiently.
- Reconcile bank statements, vendor accounts, and customer balances regularly.
- Process payroll, employee reimbursements, and expense reports.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for management review.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations, and company policies.
- Assist in VAT calculations, tax filings, and statutory submissions.
- Support internal and external audit activities by providing required documentation.
- Monitor cash flow, budgeting, and financial forecasting activities.
- Verify invoices, purchase orders, and payment approvals for accuracy.
- Maintain fixed asset registers and depreciation schedules.
- Identify discrepancies in financial records and resolve accounting issues promptly.
- Coordinate with banks, vendors, auditors, and other financial stakeholders.
- Assist management in improving accounting procedures and internal controls.
- Minimum 2–3 years of experience in accounting, finance, or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, bookkeeping, and financial reporting.
- Proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel.
