Senior Accountant

the ideal candidate will have substantial exposure to monthly closing processes, forecasting and budgeting, and customer billing. They will be organized and approach each issue with an analytical mindset.

Responsibilities

• Ensure business transactions are reported in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles
• Work closely with team members to assist with the month-end close
• Research and analyze expense variances for company management
• Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
• Ensure timely and accurate general ledger reconciliations, journal entries, and closing activities.
• Collaborate in the preparation of budgets, forecasts, and variance analysis reports.
• Assist in financial planning and performance analysis to support business strategy.
• Coordinate with external auditors and ensure compliance with audit requirements.
• Monitor internal controls and recommend improvements to enhance financial integrity and operational efficiency.
• Responsible for monitoring and controlling the company’s accounts receivable.
• Participate in cross-functional projects and provide financial insights for business development.

Qualifications

• 3+ years' of professional accounting experience
• Bilingual ( Arabic & English)
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Economics or equivalent experience
• CFA preferred
