Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly reliable and experienced Senior Accountant / Asset Controller to manage and oversee the personal assets of an NRI businessman. The role involves handling day-to-day accounting of income and expenditures, rental collections, asset maintenance, tax compliance, and financial planning. The right candidate will also play a proactive role in proposing value-enhancing strategies to grow and preserve the entrusted assets.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage daily accounts of income and expenditures, including rental and other income sources.
• Maintain accurate books of accounts and financial records.
• Oversee collection of rents and ensure timely follow-ups.
• Monitor and manage personal assets including land, buildings, shares, mutual funds, and other investments.
• Recommend asset value-enhancement strategies and new investment opportunities.
• Coordinate with Chartered Accountants for tax planning, return filing, and audits.
• Handle GST filing, local statutory compliance, and LSG-related matters.
• Ensure proper upkeep and legal/financial safeguarding of all entrusted assets.
• Prepare periodic financial reports and present asset performance reviews.
• Where applicable, support Islamic Shariah-compliant investment approaches, including Zakat calculations.

Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Commerce / Business Administration (B.Com, BBA) required; M Com/ MBA (Finance/Accounting) preferred.
• Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in asset management, personal finance, or senior accounting.
• Strong knowledge of taxation, statutory compliance, and financial regulations.
• Familiarity with Islamic finance, Zakat, or Shariah-compliant investment methods is an advantage.
• Proficiency in accounting software, MS Excel, and financial reporting tools.
• Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
• Strong character, integrity, and the ability to work independently with accountability.
• Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to propose and implement value-adding initiatives.

Compensation

• Salary: As per market standards

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
