Senior Accountant - Facility Management

We are seeking an experienced and detail oriented Senior Accountant to join our facility management team. The ideal candidate will oversee financial operations, ensure compliance, and support business decision-making through accurate reporting and analysis.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and oversee daily accounting operations, including Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), general ledger, and cash flow management.
• Process payroll by reviewing employee timesheets, attendance records, overtime, leave balances, and payroll-related deductions to ensure timely and accurate salary payments.
• Verify and reconcile manpower allocation, timesheets, and labor costs for facility management contracts and projects.
• Monitor budgets, forecasts, and expenditure to ensure effective cost control and financial performance.
• Prepare customer invoices and manage contract-based billing, revenue recognition, and collections.
• Perform bank reconciliations and ensure all financial transactions are accurately recorded and supported by proper documentation.
• Maintain fixed asset registers and monitor asset-related transactions and depreciation schedules.
• Ensure compliance with UAE regulations, tax requirements, labor laws, and company policies and procedures.
• Analyze financial data, identify variances, and provide recommendations to management to improve operational and financial efficiency.
• Prepare management reports, financial forecasts, and cash flow projections.
• Supervise and support junior accounting personnel, ensuring accuracy and adherence to company procedures.
• Collaborate with HR and Operations departments regarding payroll, employee records, timesheets, and contract-related financial matters.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• Minimum 5–8 years of accounting experience
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting
• Experience with ERP/accounting software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or similar)
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines

Preferred Qualifications

• Professional certification (ACCA, CPA, or CMA) is an advantage
• Experience in the UAE facility management sector (UAE experience preferred)
