Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Accountant with a Chartered Accountant (CA) qualification to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will have strong technical accounting knowledge, excellent analytical skills, and experience in financial reporting, budgeting, taxation, and compliance. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring the accuracy of financial records and supporting the company's financial objectives.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Manage the general ledger and ensure accurate accounting records.
• Oversee accounts payable, accounts receivable, and bank reconciliations.
• Prepare budgets, forecasts, and financial analyses.
• Ensure compliance with IFRS, UAE tax regulations, and company policies.
• Prepare and file VAT returns and support corporate tax compliance.
• Coordinate internal and external audits and provide the required documentation.
• Monitor cash flow and prepare financial management reports.
• Maintain fixed asset registers and depreciation schedules.
• Recommend improvements to accounting processes and internal controls.
• Support management with financial planning and strategic decision-making.
• Perform other finance and accounting duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Chartered Accountant (CA) qualification is mandatory.
• Minimum 4 years of accounting experience, with at least 2 years in a senior accounting role.
• Strong knowledge of IFRS, financial reporting, and UAE taxation.
• Experience with ERP/accounting software (SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, Tally, or similar).
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication skills in English.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in the UAE is highly preferred.
• Knowledge of corporate tax regulations and VAT compliance.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
