Senior Accountant (Financial & Tax)

We are seeking an experienced Senior Accountant to oversee and manage all day-to-day accounting operations. This integral role involves managing accounts payable and receivable, general ledger, payroll, tax returns and month-end close processes.

Job Responsibilities: 

• Prepare and analyse financial statements and reports.
• Oversee preparation of budgets and financial forecasts.
• Manage accounting staff and develop policies & procedures.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Assess process improvements for enhanced efficiency.
• Manage taxation processes, including preparation, filing, and reconciliation of income tax, sales tax, and withholding tax.
• Review statements for fraud or errors.
• Coordinate with external auditors, regulatory bodies and tax authorities as require
• Monitor and improve internal control to ensure accuracy and integrity of financial data
• Assist management for budgeting, forecasting & cash flow management

Qualifications:

CA or ACCA qualified (part-qualified with relevant experience may also be considered).

Technical Skills:

• 2-5 years of experience in an accounting management role.
• Deep knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
• Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks, MS Excel, SAP or Oracle.
• Advanced MS Office and accounting software skills.
• Proficiency in handling large data sets.
• Understanding of bookkeeping principles, and finance laws and regulations.
