Senior Accountant with Yardi Experience

Job Purpose: We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Senior Accountant with proven experience in Yardi property management software. The ideal candidate will oversee financial operations, manage accounting activities, and ensure accurate financial reporting for real estate or property management companies. You will play a crucial role in maintaining financial integrity, compliance, and supporting strategic decision-making.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and oversee all accounting functions related to property management operations using Yardi software.
• Reconcile and maintain accurate financial records for multiple properties or portfolios.
• Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP.
• Monitor accounts receivable and payable, ensuring timely collections and payments.
• Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis for property portfolios.
• Ensure compliance with tax regulations and financial policies.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; ACCA ,CPA or CMA will be preferable.
• Minimum of 3-8years of accounting experience, preferably within real estate or property management.
• Proven expertise in Yardi Voyager or Yardi software.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial regulations.
• Coordinate with property managers, auditors, and other departments for financial reporting and audits.
• Implement and improve internal controls and accounting procedures within Yardi.
• Generate detailed reports on property performance, rent roll, aging reports, and other financial metrics.
• Resolve discrepancies and investigate financial issues related to property accounts.
• Stay updated with industry trends, regulations, and Yardi software updates.

• Experience with financial audits and compliance standards.
