Senior Accounting Specialist

We are seeking a “Senior Accounting Specialist” to join our team.

Qualifications & Experience

• BCs degree from a reputable university, preferably in Business Administration, Economics and similar faculties
• At least 4-5 years of proven work experience in tax department of a Big Four company
• Strong technical knowledge and understanding of Turkish GAAP and local tax legislation
• CPA certificate is a must
• Extensive knowledge in SAP FI
• Advanced MS Excel skills along with the ability to create and present detailed reports
• Fluent in English (written and spoken)
• Strong analytical skills with problem-solving attitude

• Self-starter and pro-active

Responsibilities

• Perform daily accounting tasks of all accounting cycles
• Analyse and report financial results
• Perform month/year-end closing transactions with the team
• Prepare monthly financial statements and other required reports under local GAAP
• Prepare monthly tax returns
• Perform periodic account reconciliations
• Co-operate with Reporting, Budgeting and Finance teams in daily transactions, audits, closing and budget processes
• Perform monthly TB analysis
• Report to Tax and Accounting Manager and Director
