Summary:
We are seeking a Senior Analytics Developer to support integration of new systems into our analytics platform from data feeds to ongoing support. This role is responsible for ensuring data flow and quality, building and maintaining Power BI dashboards, and investigating and resolving data and reporting issues. The ideal candidate combines strong technical expertise in Power BI, Python, and data management with a service-oriented mindset, the ability to troubleshoot and support analytics solutions in production environments and the independence to lead and take actions when needed.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support the onboarding and integration of new systems into existing analytics platforms.
  • Be the go to person for ongoing technical support for existing customers and internal users of analytics and BI solutions.
  • Design, develop, modify, and maintain Power BI dashboards and reports based on business and customer needs.
  • Investigate, diagnose, and resolve data quality, data pipeline, and reporting issues reported by customers or stakeholders. Work with the reporting party through the process and the delivery of the correction.
  • Perform root cause analysis of incidents and implement long-term fixes and systematics improvements.
  • Use Python and SQL to analyze data, validate data pipelines, and support automation or data processing tasks.
  • Work closely with business users, customers, data engineers, and analysts to gather requirements and deliver solutions.
  • Ensure best practices in data modeling, performance optimization, and dashboard usability.
  • Create and maintain documentation for dashboards, data sources, and support procedures.
  • Provide guidance and technical leadership to junior team members when needed.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of data quality, reliability, technologies used and support processes.

Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Strong hands-on experience with Power BI (DAX, Power Query, data modeling, report design, performance tuning).
  • Strong Python skills for data analysis, troubleshooting, automation, and data processing.
  • Solid experience in data management and working with relational databases and large datasets.
  • Strong SQL skills and good understanding of ETL/ELT processes.
  • Proven experience troubleshooting and resolving production data and reporting issues.
  • Experience supporting customers or business users with customer service mind set
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple support and development tasks in parallel.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain technical issues to non-technical users.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.

Nice to Have:
  • Experience with cloud data platforms (e.g., Azure, AWS, or similar).
  • Familiarity with data governance, data quality frameworks, or support/incident management processes.
  • Experience mentoring or providing technical leadership within a team.
  • Passion and curiosity for data technologies and emerging artificial intelligence in analytics.
