Senior AR Executive in Medical Billing RCM

Pay: 40,000.00 (PKR)-80,000.00 (PKR) per month

Job Summary:

The AR Executive will be responsible for managing the accounts receivable process within the medical billing revenue cycle. This includes analyzing claims, following up with insurance companies and patients, resolving denials, and ensuring timely payment of medical claims to maximize collections and minimize aging.

Key Responsibilities:

• Follow up on outstanding insurance claims via phone calls and web portals.
• Analyze denied, unpaid, or underpaid claims and take corrective actions.
• Perform timely follow-up with insurance carriers and healthcare providers.
• Work on insurance aging reports and reduce Days in Accounts Receivable (AR).
• Handle appeals and re-submissions of claims with supporting documentation.
• Ensure accurate and timely posting of payments and adjustments.
• Collaborate with the billing team to identify and resolve billing issues.
• Maintain thorough documentation of all interactions and updates in the system.
• Meet or exceed daily/weekly/monthly productivity and quality targets.

Requirements:

• 1–3 years of experience in AR follow-up/medical billing (US Healthcare domain).
• Good understanding of the US healthcare RCM process and insurance guidelines.
• Experience with commercial and government payers (Medicare, Medicaid, etc.).
• Strong knowledge of CPT, ICD-10, and HCPCS codes is a plus.
• Familiarity with EOBs (Explanation of Benefits), ERAs, and denial codes.
• Proficiency with medical billing software (e.g., Kareo, AdvancedMD, Athena, eClinicalWorks, etc.).
• Excellent communication skills – both verbal and written.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in any field.
• Certification in Medical Billing/Coding or RCM is a plus.

• AR aging > 90 days reduction
• Claim resolution rate
• Denial rate and recovery
• Collection percentage
• Daily call volume and documentation accuracy

Location: Lahore (On-site)

Schedule: 6:00 PM - 3:00 AM (Monday to Friday)
