Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Architect to join our dynamic team and lead the design of exciting and complex architectural projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing all phases of project development, from concept to completion. This includes working closely with clients to understand their requirements, delivering innovative and functional design solutions, and ensuring the highest standards of quality are met. Additionally, the Senior Architect will mentor and guide junior team members, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment that aligns with our firm's values and standards.

Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform a wide range of architectural tasks including conceptual design, design development, site inspections, and reporting.
• Review and evaluate CAD drawings, 3D renderings, layouts, study models, construction documents, and material boards prepared by architectural designers.
• Provide design proposals and modifications as necessary to enhance design solutions.
• Lead and oversee all aspects of the design process, from initial concepts to the completion of construction documentation.
• Ensure compliance with all applicable building codes, regulations, and standards.
• Coordinate and collaborate with engineering and construction teams on-site.
• Review, approve, and issue detailed design and construction drawings and specifications prepared by others.
• Provide technical oversight and support to architectural staff assigned to the same projects.
• Conduct and lead project-related meetings and discussions with internal and external stakeholders.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams, including architects, engineers, and contractors to ensure smooth project execution.
• Conduct regular site visits to monitor construction progress, verify compliance with project specifications and quality standards, and identify and resolve potential issues.
• Participate in the preparation and review of bid documents and related materials.
• Continuously enhance knowledge of industry trends, practices, and technologies.
• Lead, coach, and mentor junior architects and design staff, supporting their professional development and contributing to the growth of the architectural team.

Skills and Qualifications:

• Fluent in Arabic and English with excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills.
• Minimum 10 years of professional architectural experience, including at least 7 years in international firms within the UAE.
• Must hold a valid UAE driving license.
• Proficient in design and project management software, including AutoCAD, Revit, Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, 3D modeling tools, and Primavera.
• Extensive experience in the planning, design, and management of complex, multi-use developments, including residential and mixed-use buildings.
• Strong knowledge of design and construction management principles, including CPM scheduling, cost control, change order pricing/negotiation, and industry-standard construction techniques and practices.
• Deep understanding of architectural design principles such as form, function, materials and methods, urban context, circulation, and compliance with design codes and standards.
• Ability to independently develop architectural procedures, protocols, and forms.
• Proven capability to present complex ideas and information to a variety of audiences using both verbal and visual methods.
• Familiarity with UAE authority regulations and experience in securing necessary approvals.
• Strong ability to build and maintain effective working relationships with team members, consultants, and stakeholders.
• Excellent organizational and coordination skills with a demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects effectively.

Pay: AED20,000.00 - AED25,000.00 per month
