Senior Architect – Dubai Municipality Registered

BYHM Design Studio is seeking a Senior Architect to act as Technical Manager for our architectural consultancy practice in Dubai. The role involves overseeing architectural compliance, managing authority submissions, and ensuring that all projects meet Dubai Municipality regulations.

The candidate will support the studio in delivering residential and mixed-use projects including low-rise buildings (G+4 to G+12) while maintaining the design vision of the studio.

Key Responsibilities

• Act as Technical Manager for the architectural consultancy license.
• Review and approve architectural drawings prior to authority submission.
• Ensure compliance with Dubai Municipality regulations and building codes.
• Coordinate with structural, MEP, and other engineering consultants.
• Manage building permit submissions and authority approvals.
• Provide technical guidance during design development and construction documentation.
• Attend meetings with authorities when required.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture.
• Registered member of the UAE Society of Engineers.
• Dubai Municipality registered engineer / architect.
• Minimum 7–10 years of professional experience in the UAE.
• Proven experience with authority submissions and building permit approvals.
• Experience working on residential or mixed-use buildings (G+4 or higher).
• Strong knowledge of Dubai building regulations and submission procedures.
