Job Summary (Summarizing the primary purpose of the position)
The communications senior associate plays a key role in enabling RSM’s internal communication platform strategy and execution. This role owns the day to day management and optimization of communication platforms, supporting firmwide priorities and evolving business needs. The position is responsible for supporting the communications team, building strong relationships with stakeholders and assisting in developing multi channel, compelling strategies, tactics and deliverables to inform, engage and inspire our people to embrace the RSM brand, strategy and culture and maximize key communications and business objectives. With a strong focus on reporting and insights, the role contributes to continuous improvement and scalable, future ready communication solutions across the firm.
Essential duties
Communication platform strategy and management

Support and execute the communications platform strategy to meet evolving business priorities and user needs.

Own end-to-end platform operations, including review, publication, scheduling and distribution of content.

Manage and support internal communications plan across platforms such as RSM Power, SharePoint, Microsoft Amplify, Viva Engage and other tools as required.

Support onboarding and training new users on communication platforms and processes.

Create, maintain and improve platform SOPs, templates and workflows aligned with the firms’ standard and governance.
Internal communication planning and execution

Develop internal communication plans, tactics and deliverables to achieve communication objectives aligned with assigned projects and programs.

Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure communications are planned, sequenced and integrated across the enterprise, as appropriate to ensure that all communications are delivered on time and through the proper channels.
Content creation

Assist in content creation and/or optimization across various internal and/or external platforms. Working with various stakeholders, developers, and reviewers in the publishing process, helping to build and update various components while maintaining compliance with firm governance and branding.:

Formatting, proofreading and recommending content optimization tactics, uploading and updating content to reflect status or categorization/meta tagging

Archiving content, monitoring content usage and analyzing metrics to evaluate effectiveness
Ad hoc projects

Provide support on corporate communications and ad hoc projects as assigned.

Assist in coordination and content for additional campaigns or projects across formats and media
Reporting and data driven insights

Share in compiling and evaluating reports on content and platform performance

Actively share ideas and insights to improve communication processes, tools and results continually.
Stakeholder management

Actively build relationships with team members and key stakeholders across global teams
