Senior Associate Attorney

```Overview:

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Senior Associate Attorney to join our legal team. Please submit your resume, cover letter, and writing sample for consideration.

NOTE - this position has been posted as a "full-time" role, although we are open to discussing part-time needs with qualified candidates.

Preference for attorneys residing in the Tampa Bay area.

Responsibilities:

- Conduct legal research using Westlaw to support ongoing cases

- Draft legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and briefs

- Assist with case management and preparation for litigation

- Collaborate with senior attorneys to develop case strategies

- Attend court hearings and depositions as needed

- Negotiate settlements on behalf of clients

- Provide legal advice and guidance to clients

- Maintain accurate and up-to-date case files

Experience:

- Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school

- Admitted to practice law in Florida and its federal courts

- 2+ years of experience in a law firm or similar legal setting

- Prior civil litigation experience required.

- Strong knowledge of legal research tools such as Lexis-Nexis and Westlaw

- Ability to litigate cases effectively

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills

- Detail-oriented with strong organizational abilities

Base Pay: $120,000.00 - $145,000.00 per year
