Senior Associate - FP&A

We are looking to hire a FP&A - Team Lead who will be responsible for supervising the Accounts Department, working on reports for planning, forecasting and budgeting the financial and commercials of out organization, building insightful dashboards in a fast-paced, growing environment.

The role sits within the Finance Department and reports directly to the CFO.

Key responsibilities:

• Oversee, the accounting and credit collection functions of the business (headcount of 2)
• Reviewing working papers related to the month-end closing
• Reviewing the monthly reporting and providing guidance and process optimization insights where needed. (Approximately 20-30% of the role.)
• Develop and maintain financial models, forecasts, and dashboards to support strategic decision-making.
• Deliver commercial reporting and analysis on a AED100M revenue business, providing insights into performance drivers.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to collect data inputs and align financial reporting with business objectives.
• Prepare and present monthly performance packs to senior leadership with clear insights and recommendations.
• Support budgeting and forecasting cycles, including scenario modeling and variance analysis.
• Drive continuous improvement in financial processes and reporting tools using Excel and ERP systems (preferably Odoo).
• Act as a finance business partner to commercial and operational teams, ensuring alignment and accountability.

Knowledge, skills & experience:

• Qualified accountant (ACCA, ACA, or CA) with 2-3 years of post-qualification experience in an accounting role and , 1-3 years of experience in FP&A or commercial finance.
• Strong demonstrable Excel skills with the ability understand business objectives, develop processes to source and link data sources and then dashboards and models; experience with data visualization tools is a plus.
• Proficiency or working knowledge of ERP systems, ideally Odoo or other cloud-based platforms.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence stakeholders.
• Commercial acumen and a proactive, energetic approach to problem-solving and financial storytelling.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
