Senior Associate – Litigation & Appellate Advocacy

Position Summary

The Senior Associate in Litigation & Appellate Advocacy represents clients in complex civil, commercial, and administrative disputes, including appeals. This role requires strong advocacy skills and the ability to mentor junior attorneys.

Key Responsibilities

• Handle civil and commercial litigation cases from discovery through trial and appeal.

• Represent clients in appellate courts, preparing briefs and oral arguments.

• Mentor and supervise junior associates and paralegals.

• Draft motions, pleadings, and appellate briefs.

• Engage in alternative dispute resolution (mediation & arbitration).

Qualifications

• JD from an accredited law school; licensed to practice.

• 6+ years of experience in civil and appellate litigation.

• Strong written and oral advocacy skills.

• Experience mentoring junior attorneys or managing litigation teams.

• Ability to balance trial work with appellate practice.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $150.00 - $300.00 per hour
