Senior Associate – Procurement

Overview:

A leading entertainment development company in Saudi Arabia is embarking on an ambitious program to build 22 state-of-the-art entertainment destinations, including two major theme parks. These venues will feature world-class attractions and experiences designed to elevate guest entertainment. The organization’s procurement function is actively supporting multiple projects across the portfolio and is now seeking experienced consultants to provide short-term support and strengthen the team’s capacity across key initiatives.

A senior-level role focused on driving category strategies, supplier relationships, and sourcing efficiency within a collaborative procurement team.

The Role:

Reporting to the Procurement Manager, this position oversees procurement planning, negotiations, and category management. The Senior Associate will manage high-value purchases and lead process improvements.

Responsibilities:

• Lead full-cycle procurement from sourcing to contract award.
• Conduct commercial and price analysis.
• Manage key supplier relationships and category performance.
• Collaborate with legal teams on contract reviews.
• Ensure compliance with procurement policies and governance standards.
• Contribute to budgeting and cost optimization initiatives.
• Support digital transformation and process improvement efforts.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or related field.
• 5+ years of procurement experience.
• Proficiency in SAP/Ariba and MS Office.
• Excellent negotiation and stakeholder management skills.

Nice to Have:

• CIPS or RICS certification.
• Experience in service-sector or entertainment procurement.
