Senior Associates at Strategy& , part of the PwC network, typically bring 3–5 years of experience and have demonstrated strong consulting or corporate strategy exposure across sectors and problem statements. They play a critical role in solving strategic challenges, working shoulder-to-shoulder with clients to address their most pressing issues — from growth and market entry to digital transformation and business model innovation.

Senior Associates are expected to contribute to the development of corporate and business unit strategies, evaluate market opportunities, structure problems, conduct analyses, and support end-to-end project delivery. Common areas of focus include Corporate Strategy, Growth Strategy, Go-to-Market Design, Market Entry , Digital Strategy and Transformation Projects .

As a Senior Associate, you will be expected to demonstrate analytical thinking, initiative, collaboration, and high personal drive. PwC Professional skills and responsibilities at this level include, but are not limited to:

  • Strong problem structuring and solving capabilities (quantitative and qualitative), and the ability to apply structured thinking across different industries and contexts.
  • Demonstrated ability to translate complex, ambiguous business issues into clear problem statements with actionable insights.
  • Conducting and synthesizing market research, primary interviews, competitive benchmarking, and data analysis to derive impactful recommendations.
  • Collaborating effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment , providing and seeking regular feedback and clarification.
  • Supporting engagement leadership in project planning, workstream management, and client communication .
  • Drafting high-quality deliverables and client-ready presentations in a clear, structured, and insightful manner.
  • Engaging with client teams to understand business context, validate findings , and co-create solutions.
  • Driving internal initiatives and contributing to knowledge sharing and practice development.

What You’ll Bring (Experience & Qualifications)

  • 3–5 years of experience in strategy consulting or relevant corporate roles.
  • 1-3 years of experience in consumer, retail or industrials sector.
  • An MBA from a top tier institution.
  • Practical exposure in one or more of the following areas:
  • Corporate and Business Unit Strategy
  • Growth Strategy, Market Entry, Go-to-Market Design
  • Organizational or Digital Transformation
  • Business development, marketing, or sales strategy
  • Strong command of Excel, PowerPoint, and other analytical tools to structure and communicate insights.
  • Ability to adapt across industries and business issues , showing a solid understanding of market dynamics and enterprise levers.
  • Demonstrated experience in leading or co-leading workstreams and contributing to impactful client outcomes.
