Senior Automation Engineer (AI/ML Engineer) (Full Time, On-site, I-8/4 Islamabad)

Decimal Solution is seeking a skilled Senior AI Automation Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will be at the forefront of designing and building intelligent AI-assisted automation systems for enterprise operations. You will leverage a combination of traditional automation and cutting-edge AI/LLM technologies to create smart, reliable, and scalable solutions that drive efficiency and support high-volume business processes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, build, and deploy intelligent automation workflows and large-scale automation pipelines.
• Integrate AI and Large Language Model (LLM) technologies from providers like OpenAI, Anthropic, and Google Gemini into business automation systems.
• Develop robust validation systems and anomaly detection mechanisms to ensure the reliability of AI-driven decisions within automation workflows.
• Architect secure and scalable automation solutions tailored for enterprise environments.
• Own automation projects from initial design and development through to deployment and maintenance.
• Collaborate effectively within cross-functional Agile/Scrum teams to deliver high-quality solutions.
• Utilize SQL databases for data validation, logging, and reporting purposes.
• Work with modern automation and integration platforms as part of solution design.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, or a related technical field.
• Minimum 2+ years of hands-on experience in Python-based automation.
• Minimum 2+ years of experience integrating AI/LLM solutions into production business workflows.
• Strong experience building and maintaining production-level automation systems.
• Strong expertise in Python automation frameworks (e.g., Selenium, PyTest) and development frameworks (e.g., Django, Flask, FastAPI).
• Proven experience designing and developing AI-assisted automation workflows with LLMs.
• Hands-on experience creating secure, scalable automation solutions for enterprise environments.
• Proficiency in working with SQL databases for data tasks.
• Familiarity with modern automation/integration tools (e.g., n8n, Make, Zapier).
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and Agile/Scrum development environments.
• Familiarity with running and managing LLMs locally or on servers using tools such as Ollama or LLMStudio.

Tools & Platforms (Experience with some of the following):

• ServiceNow ATF
• JMeter for performance testing
• N8N, Make, ManyChat, Zapier

Soft Skills & Logistics:

• Ability to own projects end-to-end and make sound technical decisions.
• Comfortable working both independently and as part of a team.
• Strong collaboration and communication skills.
• Career-oriented with growth potential toward AI Automation Architect or Technical Lead roles.
• Must be available to work and collaborate primarily during Eastern Standard Time (EST) zone hours.
