Senior Automation Tester

Role Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Software Tester to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in software testing, with a strong emphasis on automation testing. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products while mentoring junior testers.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, maintain, and execute automated test scripts using industry-standard testing frameworks.
• Collaborate with development teams to understand project requirements and create effective test strategies.
• Perform functional, regression, integration, and user acceptance testing.
• Identify, document, and track software defects, ensuring they are resolved in a timely manner.
• Review and improve existing test cases and test plans to enhance test coverage and efficiency.
• Participate in code reviews and provide feedback on software design and implementation.
• Mentor and guide junior testers in best practices for testing and automation.
• Stay updated with the latest trends and technologies in software testing and automation.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in software testing, with a focus on automation.
• Proficiency in automation testing tools (e.g., Selenium, JUnit, TestNG, etc.).
• Strong understanding of software development methodologies (Agile, Scrum, etc.).
• Experience with programming languages such as Java, C#, or Python.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality work.
• Effective communication and teamwork skills.
