Senior Back-End Developer (Python – SaaS Platform)

Role Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Back-End Developer to design, build, and maintain robust backend systems and services for our SaaS platform, which powers both client-facing web applications and internal admin dashboards/CRMs.

Your expertise in Python (Django, Flask, or FastAPI), RESTful APIs, and scalable database design will drive the development of high-performance solutions that support thousands of users. You will collaborate closely with product managers, designers, and our front-end React.js team to deliver seamless, user-centric applications. This role offers significant long-term growth, with the opportunity to take ownership of core architecture and evolve into a lead engineering role as our company scales.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, optimize, and maintain backend systems using Python frameworks (Django, Flask, FastAPI).
• Design, build, and integrate RESTful APIs to support client-facing and admin applications.
• Architect and implement CRM and dashboard functionalities aligned with business needs.
• Design and optimize database schemas (PostgreSQL/MySQL) for performance and scalability.
• Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code following best practices.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver features on time and at high quality.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize performance across existing systems.
• Ensure security best practices in authentication, authorization, and data protection.
• Mentor junior developers and enforce adherence to coding standards.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Back-End Developer with strong expertise in Python.
• Hands-on experience with frameworks such as Django, Flask, or FastAPI.
• Strong knowledge of RESTful API design and integration.
• Solid understanding of databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL) and performance tuning.
• Experience with CRM or admin dashboard development.
• Proficiency in Git and modern development workflows (CI/CD, branching strategies).
• Strong problem-solving abilities with attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) and containerization tools (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Familiarity with microservices architecture and distributed systems.
• Exposure to front-end technologies (React.js, HTML, CSS, JavaScript) for collaboration.
• Previous experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
• Track record of leading or mentoring engineering teams.

Pay: From Rs350,000.00 per month
