Senior Backend Engineer (Ruby on Rails 7.1) (7+ yrs)

Responsibilities

· Design and develop backend services and GraphQL APIs using Ruby on Rails 7.1.

· Build and maintain scalable database schemas with PostgreSQL.

· Implement multi-tenancy, role-based access control, and background job processing.

· Ensure backend performance, security, and reliability.

· Collaborate with frontend and product teams to integrate APIs.

· Conduct code reviews, mentor engineers, and enforce backend best practices.

Requirements

· 7+ years of experience.

· Strong expertise in Ruby on Rails and PostgreSQL.

· Experience with GraphQL APIs, multi-tenancy, and authentication systems.

· Knowledge of caching, job queues, and state machines.

· Familiarity with Docker-based deployments.

· Strong debugging, optimization, and communication skills.
