Responsibilities:
- Beverage Preparation: Expertly prepare and serve a variety of coffee and tea beverages, including complex and specialty drinks.
- Team Leadership: Mentor and train junior baristas, providing guidance and support to enhance their skills.
- Customer Service: Provide outstanding customer service, address customer inquiries, and resolve complaints effectively.
- Quality Control: Ensure all beverages meet high standards of quality, taste, and presentation.
- Inventory Management: Monitor and manage inventory levels, placing orders for supplies and maintaining stock.
- Equipment Maintenance: Oversee the cleaning and maintenance of coffee machines, grinders, and other equipment.
- Menu Development: Collaborate with management to develop and introduce new beverages and menu items.
- Sales Reporting: Assist with financial tasks, such as daily sales reporting and cash handling.
- Ambiance: Maintain a clean, organized, and inviting cafe environment.
- Compliance: Ensure adherence to health and safety regulations and company policies.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Experience: Extensive experience as a barista, with expertise in coffee preparation and brewing methods.
