Female Barista

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and Serve Coffee: Brew and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages, including espresso-based drinks (latte, cappuccino, macchiato, etc.), teas, and smoothies.
• Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service by greeting customers warmly, taking orders, and answering any questions regarding the menu.
• Maintain Cleanliness: Ensure the café area, kitchen, and equipment are kept clean, organized, and sanitized throughout the shift.
• Stock and Inventory: Monitor inventory levels for coffee, milk, syrups, and other supplies. Ensure stock is replenished in a timely manner.
• Cash Handling: Accurately process transactions, handle cash, and provide change.
• Create a Positive Environment: Build and maintain a positive rapport with customers, ensuring a pleasant and welcoming atmosphere.
• Team Collaboration: Work closely with other baristas and kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations during busy periods.
• Comply with Health & Safety Standards: Adhere to all food safety regulations, health codes, and café policies.

Qualifications:

• Experience: Previous experience as a barista or in a customer service role is preferred but not required.
• Skills: Strong communication skills, attention to detail, ability to multitask, and excellent customer service skills.
• Physical Stamina: Ability to stand for long periods and work in a fast-paced environment.
• Passion for Coffee: A genuine interest in coffee and learning about different brewing techniques is a plus.
• Flexibility: Availability to work weekends, evenings, and holidays as needed.
