Senior Barista – Specialty Coffee Shop (Manual Machine Experience)

The Barista is responsible for preparing and serving high-quality coffee beverages and delivering a memorable specialty coffee experience. The role requires hands-on experience with manual espresso machines, latte art, and knowledge of specialty coffee brewing methods.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare espresso-based and manual brew coffee drinks according to specialty standards.
• Operate and maintain manual espresso machines and brewing equipment.
• Create latte art and ensure consistent quality in presentation and taste.
• Calibrate grinders and ensure proper extraction and brewing parameters.
• Engage customers with knowledge about coffee origins, roasting, and brewing styles.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area and equipment.
• Assist with inventory management and restocking supplies.
• Support the team during busy hours to ensure smooth workflow.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Barista in a specialty coffee shop.
• Skilled in manual espresso machines, grinder calibration, and latte art.
• Strong understanding of specialty coffee standards and brewing methods.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Passion for coffee and attention to detail.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and as part of a team.
