Job Title: Senior Bookkeeper
Location: Johar Town, Lahore
Timings: 6:00 PM – 3:00 AM (Monday to Friday)

Job Overview:
Rocket Bookkeepers is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Bookkeeper to join our growing finance team. The ideal candidate should have 2–3 years of experience working in accounting firms, preferably with U.S.-based clients, and possess a deep understanding of accounting principles, reconciliations, and financial reporting. This role is ideal for someone who takes initiative, maintains high accuracy, and is comfortable working in a fast-paced, professional environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Record, review, and manage daily financial transactions using accounting software.
• Reconcile bank accounts, credit cards, and other financial statements regularly.
• Maintain detailed and organized records of invoices, receipts, and payments.
• Handle month-end and year-end closing processes and prepare financial statements.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and international accounting standards.
• Communicate effectively with U.S.-based clients regarding billing, payments, and reporting.
• Provide support and guidance to junior bookkeeping staff.
• Prepare management reports and assist during audits as required.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 2–3 years of experience in bookkeeping within accounting firms (U.S. accounting experience preferred).
• Strong understanding of accounting concepts and financial reporting standards.
• Hands-on experience with QuickBooks, Xero, or similar accounting platforms.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other financial tools.
• Exceptional attention to detail and time management.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
