Senior Bookkeeper (UK Accounting Firm)

Qualifications:

• ACCA Affiliate/Part Qualified/ICAEW
• Minimum of 2 to 3 years of relevant experience with UK based firm.
• Proficiency in QuickBooks Online, Xero, Wave Accounting, and other accounting software
• Strong understanding of UK tax regulations.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills (English Communication must be very good)
• Attention to detail and high level of accuracy.

Integrating Accounting Software: Collaborate with the IT team to integrate QuickBooks Online, Xero, and other accounting software with other systems or software used within the organization.

Chart of Accounts Management: Maintain and manage the charts of accounts across various accounting platforms, ensuring accuracy and consistency.

Bookkeeping: Perform bookkeeping tasks using QuickBooks, Xero, Wave, maintaining accurate and organized financial records. - Have good strong knowledge of Bookkeeping/VAT.

Excellent communication and A to Z bookkeeping knowledge and experience of UK based industry clients (Contractors/SMB)

Statement Reconciliation: Reconcile bank and credit card statements in QuickBooks, Xero, and Wave Accounting to identify and rectify discrepancies.

Workflow Management: Utilize workflow management software such as Karbon, Asana, and Clickup to streamline and optimize accounting and financial processes.

Project Accounting: Manage project accounting, tracking financial aspects of various projects and providing financial insights to support decision-making.

Management Accounting: Good in preparing management accounts and reviewing tasks.

Supervision: Review and supervise the work of junior staff members, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards and procedures.

Pay: Rs150,000.00 - Rs170,000.00 per month
