Senior Business Analyst

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Senior Business Analyst to bridge the gap between business needs and technology solutions. The ideal candidate will analyze business processes, gather requirements, and work closely with stakeholders and technical teams to deliver effective, data-driven solutions that improve business performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Gather, analyze, and document business requirements from stakeholders.
• Translate business needs into functional and technical specifications.
• Work closely with developers, QA teams, and project managers to ensure successful delivery.
• Analyze existing business processes and recommend improvements.
• Create detailed documentation including BRD, FRD, user stories, and process flows.
• Facilitate meetings, workshops, and requirement-gathering sessions.
• Support UAT (User Acceptance Testing) and ensure requirements are met.
• Identify risks, dependencies, and potential issues in project delivery.
• Develop reports, dashboards, and KPI tracking where required.
• Ensure alignment between business objectives and technical solutions.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst.
• Strong knowledge of requirement gathering techniques and documentation.
• Experience with Agile and/or Waterfall methodologies.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to work with cross-functional teams and manage stakeholders.
• Proficiency in tools such as MS Excel, Visio, JIRA, or similar tools.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in domains such as banking, telecom, IT services, or enterprise systems.
• Knowledge of SQL or basic data analysis is an advantage.
• Familiarity with BI tools like Power BI or Tableau is a plus.
• CBAP or related Business Analysis certification preferred.
