Senior Business Analyst – Banking Domain Specialist

Role Objective:

We are looking for a seasoned Senior Business Analyst with deep expertise in the banking domain. This role is essential for transforming business requirements into technical solutions, particularly across core banking systems, digital payments, and treasury products. The successful candidate will act as a bridge between business stakeholders and IT teams, ensuring clear communication and successful delivery of business solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Work closely with business & Technology units to gather and analyze requirements for banking products and services.
• Create detailed documentation that translates business needs into functional and technical specifications following UML standards.
• Collaborate with IT and development teams to ensure requirements are clearly understood and implemented accurately.
• Conduct detailed impact analysis with technical team and make sure scope is covered along with full test case coverage and exist criteria.
• Lead workshops, design sessions, and user acceptance testing (UAT) to validate solutions.
• Offer expertise on industry best practices and compliance standards within the banking domain in banking products & services including Retail, Payments and digital services.
• Serve as a liaison to keep business and IT teams aligned and informed throughout the project lifecycle.

Job Requirements:

• 7+ years of Significant experience as a Business Analyst in the banking industry, preferably in a senior capacity.
• Strong knowledge of core banking systems, digital payments, and treasury operations.
• Excellent analytical skills and the ability to convert business requirements into technical deliverables.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to facilitate collaboration between business and IT stakeholders.
