Senior Business Analyst – P&C Insurance

We are seeking a Senior Business Analyst with extensive experience in the reinsurance business and a focus on P&C claims to join our team.

You will leverage your expertise to analyze business processes and support the development and testing of claims applications. This role requires collaboration with stakeholders and a strong analytical mindset to ensure alignment of solutions with business needs. Responsibilities

• Support business analysis and detail requirements for claims application product backlog
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather and refine requirements
• Translate business needs into clear user stories and acceptance criteria
• Perform process analysis and validate critical scenarios through testing
• Support solution design ensuring alignment with accounting requirements
• Facilitate sprint planning, reviews, and backlog grooming sessions
• Maintain traceability and documentation of data flows and business logic

Requirements

• Strong Business Analysis background in Insurance or Reinsurance with 7 to 10 years of experience
• Experience in SQL and Data Analysis techniques
• Proficiency in working within agile environments using tools such as Azure DevOps
• Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively and manage stakeholder relationships
• Skills in documentation and maintaining clear records of requirements and processes
• Understanding of P&C insurance claims processes and data structures

Nice to have

• Familiarity with reinsurance business operations
• Experience in underwriting for property and casualty insurance
• Knowledge of insurance P&C claims solutions
• Ability to bridge technical and business perspectives
