Position Overview: • Play a strategic and hands-on role in driving customer acquisition, revenue generation, and partnership development for Buildmate (BM). • Operate as a senior member of the business development team, combining direct sales execution with market intelligence. • May include mentoring junior team members and contributing to the improvement of sales processes. • Work closely with the Business Development Manager and Country Manager to expand BM’s footprint in the construction ecosystem across Saudi Arabia and the GCC. Key Responsibilities: 1. High-Impact Business Development & Sales Execution: o Identify, approach, and onboard key contractors, building materials suppliers, and equipment rental providers to BM’s platform. o Conduct sales meetings, demos, presentations, and negotiations to close deals and generate revenue. o Manage and nurture a pipeline of qualified leads, ensuring high conversion rates. o Close mid-to-large-scale B2B deals and secure recurring business. o Assist in crafting custom solutions and offers. 2. Customer Relationship Management: o Serve as the main point of contact for key accounts, maintaining strong client relationships. o Lead onboarding and training sessions for new users. o Gather customer feedback and collaborate with product/support teams to enhance user experience. 3. Market Expansion & Strategic Insights: o Support leadership in identifying emerging opportunities and market gaps. o Monitor competitor activities, customer trends, and pricing strategies. o Participate in sales strategy development and suggest improvements. 4. Team Contribution & Leadership Support: o Assist in mentoring junior business developers. o Support the Business Development Manager with training, reporting, and campaign rollouts. o Contribute to sales playbooks and process optimization. 5. Performance Reporting & Forecasting: o Maintain accurate sales activity records in the CRM system. o Report on individual sales performance, revenue forecasts, and customer engagement. o Track KPIs like conversion rates, deal sizes, and client retention.
Requirements
Key Qualifications & Experience: • Experience: Minimum 5+ years in B2B sales, business development, or account management (preferably construction, SaaS, marketplaces, industrial sectors). PERSON SPECIFICATION: • Education: o Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Marketing, Communications, or a related field (Essential) • Experience: o Proficiency with MS Office and CRM systems o Saudi driving license and transferable residency • Skills: o Client-facing presentation skills o Sales and negotiation o Multitasking and time management o Arabic and English communication o Ability to close deals under pressure
