Senior Business Intelligence Analyst

Key Accountabilities/Responsibilities:

• Work with management, users and external partners gathering requirements closely, provide status update and build relationships.
• Create and maintain rich interactive dashboards using data visualization techniques via data interpretation and data analysis integration various reporting components from multiple data sources.
• Identify trends and opportunities for organizational efficiency and growth through analysis of our sophisticated data sets.
• Create best-practice report functionality based on historical and live data sets, data mining, analysis, and visualization
• Elicit, document, and analyze reporting needs and requirements.
• Analyze data and reporting solutions to understand business impact, correlations/discrepancies, and to propose changes/alternate solutions.
• Define and implement data acquisition and integration to ERP system, and external data sources, whereby selecting an appropriate combination of data models, methods, and tools.
• Work with business requester evaluating and clarify requests. Evaluate uniqueness of report request and offer alternative solutions where applicable.
• Ensure the delivery of report changes, testing, and deployment with adequate documentation in relation to the request for change or additional requirements.
• Provide technical documentation on the recommendation made and on the modification to existing reports due to the new user requirements.

Education & Experience:

• Bachelor's degree from a reputable university - Computer Engineering.
• Not less than 5 years of experience in BI Roles.

Skills:

• Experience with database programming; Relational database management systems “SQL and Oracle”.
• Experience with ETL using Data Services creation of data flows, workflows, transforms, and job.
• Good knowledge of SAP BW (Process Chains, ADSO, Info Providers, Info Objects) is a must.
• Good knowledge of ETL design and optimization techniques is a must Hands-on experience with complex SQL queries is a must.
• Data warehouse design and Architecture is a must.
• Familiarity with other BI solutions; Microsoft Power BI Basic knowledge is preferred.
• Basic Knowledge in one or more of scripting languages is a plus.
• Familiarity with other BI solutions (Google BI, Tableaux) is a plus.
