Senior Business Systems Analyst

Senior Business Systems Analyst
THE COMPANY:
STACK INFRASTRUCTURE (STACK) provides digital infrastructure to scale the world’s most innovative companies. We are an award-winning industry leader in building, owning, and operating highly efficient, cost-effective wholesale, colocation, and cloud data centers. Each of our national facilities meets or exceeds the highest industry standards in all operational categories of availability, security, connectivity, and physical resilience.
STACK offers the scale and geographic reach that rapidly growing hyperscale and enterprise companies need. The world runs on data. Data runs on STACK.
THE POSITION:
STACK is seeking a Senior Business Systems Analyst to own and evolve the operational systems backbone that supports hyperscale data center operations. This role is critical to enabling reliability, scale, automation, and financial accuracy across a growing fleet of mission-critical facilities.
This is not a support, admin, or reporting role. This is a systems ownership and integration leadership role for someone who understands how hyperscale data centers operate and how tightly-coupled systems must be designed to support them.
You will lead initiatives from problem definition and architecture through implementation, integration, and long-term ownership, while optimizing and hardening existing platforms already in production.
WHAT YOU’LL DO:
Define & Scale Operational Systems
  • Partner with Critical Operations, Innovation & Engineering, Operations Technology, and Finance to understand hyperscale workflows, constraints, and failure modes.
  • Define fleet-scale future-state operating models that support standardization, automation, and growth.
Own the Operational Systems Stack
  • Own the roadmap and lifecycle for CMMS, Asset Management, and related operational platforms.
  • Establish clear system ownership, boundaries, and data contracts across tools.
  • Act as Product Owner post-launch, driving adoption, enhancements, and vendor accountability.
Lead Integrations & Architecture
  • Define and deliver integrations across operational, financial, and analytics systems.
  • Translate operational workflows into scalable, integration-first designs (APIs, events, data pipelines).
  • Create system diagrams, data models, and interface requirements.
Execute with Reliability in Mind
  • Lead initiatives from discovery through rollout and stabilization.
  • Identify integration, data, and operational risks early—especially those impacting uptime, compliance, or billing accuracy.
  • Ensure solutions scale across sites without compromising reliability or data integrity.

THE DETAILS:
  • Location: Denver, Colorado
  • Travel: 10%
  • Compensation: $135,000 - $155,000
  • Must be eligible to work in the United States
  • Must pass comprehensive background screening
MUST-HAVE QUALIFICATIONS:
  • 7+ years as a Business Systems Analyst, Product Analyst, or similar role
  • Direct experience supporting hyperscale or large-scale mission-critical infrastructure
  • Demonstrated ownership of systems supporting:
    • CMMS and maintenance execution
    • Asset hierarchy and lifecycle management
    • DCIM, BMS, EPMS and capacity management
  • Strong experience defining and delivering complex, multi-system integrations
  • Proven ability to translate operational reality into scalable system designs
  • Comfortable operating in ambiguity and setting direction where none exists
  • Experience integrating operational platforms with ERP, billing, or utility chargeback systems
  • Exposure to telemetry ingestion, time-series data, or energy metering
THIS MIGHT BE RIGHT FOR YOU IF:
  • Think in fleet-scale architectures, not site-by-site fixes
  • Understand that integrations fail more often than systems—and design accordingly
  • Push for data accuracy because finance, operations, and customers depend on it
  • Care about adoption by technicians, not just executive dashboards
  • Take ownership end-to-end and stay accountable after go-live
THIS ROLE IS NOT FOR YOU IF …
  • You avoid deep technical and integration discussions
  • You prefer vendor-defined architectures
  • You optimize for speed over reliability and data integrity
  • You expect clean requirements handed to you
WHY STACK?
  • We offer a competitive compensation package with strong benefits, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, a 401K program, flexible spending accounts – even a cell phone subsidy.
  • We foster a culture of appreciation, including peer-to-peer recognition and rewards programs.
  • Fun is part of our DNA, with events, game nights, happy hours, and barbecues.
  • We’re growing – this is a great time to join and make an impact!
