The Mission: Optimize, Partner, and Save
As our Senior Buyer, you will be a strategic leader responsible for the health and efficiency of our supply chain:

Strategic Sourcing: Procure assigned commodities and utilize RFQs/RFPs to select suppliers based on the best blend of cost, quality, and delivery.

Cost & Inventory Control: Maintain optimal inventory levels, manage accurate ERP data (pricing, lead times), and leverage Exception Reports to guide proactive purchasing decisions.

Supplier Leadership: Recommend and implement material contracts, assist in critical negotiations, and manage our Supplier Certification Programs to drive continuous improvement.

Cross-Functional Impact: Collaborate with internal teams, particularly Sales, on forecasting needs and actively participate in cost-saving initiatives and material selection during the estimating phase.
What You Bring: The Essential Qualifications-
Experience: Minimum 5 years of hands-on purchasing experience, preferably including hydraulic parts, machined parts, and/or steel.

Education: Bachelor’s degree in business, Supply Chain, or a related field.

Expertise: Proficiency in ERP systems and MS Office; experience with CPM or CPIM certification is a plus.

Skills: Demonstrated success in negotiation, analysis, and strong professional communication.
