Senior Care Advisor & Community Engagement Specialist
Finding the right care for an aging loved one can be overwhelming. At CarePatrol of Indianapolis South/East, we simplify the process to help families find the best senior care solutions tailored to their loved one’s needs.
Job Purpose:
This pivotal role is responsible for connecting with clients and their families to find safer and appropriate senior care options, while simultaneously developing and expanding our presence within the community to increase brand awareness and generate sales leads.
Key Responsibilities:
● Act as the expert in your territory for providing senior care options. Meet with clients to complete a comprehensive Care Discovery to determine their specific care needs and preferences.
● Provide appropriate care options based on Care Discovery findings, including action steps and community resources, as well as arrange and accompany clients on customized tours of communities.
● Monitor changes by following up with clients regularly and document progress daily in the company database.
● Utilize appropriate government agencies when necessary (e.g., State Licensing, Ombudsman, Medicaid Waiver, Area Agency on Aging, Adult Protective Services).
● Post move-in support, documentation, communication, and other duties as assigned.
● Develop partnerships with physicians, discharge planners, case managers, social workers, and other healthcare professionals to increase client referrals.
● Educate professionals, facilities, organizations, and consumers about the services offered.
● Attend area networking and chamber events and pursue marketing opportunities in the community to promote the brand and establish a strong working rapport with healthcare professionals in the territory.
● Strive to exceed daily, weekly, monthly, and year-over-year sales goals.
What we are looking for:
● Experience: Background in healthcare, senior care, social work, counseling, or customer service.
● Communication: Strong verbal and written skills to engage with families, professionals, and community partners.
● Compassion & Empathy: A deep understanding of the emotional challenges families face during this transition and a service oriented approach.
● Organization & Problem-Solving: Ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple cases, and provide thoughtful solutions, as well as multi-tasking abilities.
● Tech-Savvy: Comfortable using MS Office and relevant databases for documentation.
● Reliable Transportation: Must have a valid driver’s license, reliable vehicle, and insurance (car allowance provided).
● Competitive & Sales-Driven with a proven track record of leading sales growth and excellence in closing/asking for the business and strong presentation skills.
● Compliance - Requires signed confidentiality agreement, a valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and insurance.

Hybrid work setting: Remote/On-the-road (As far south as Columbus, as far east as Greenfield, as far north as Anderson). Salary Range: $55,000 - $75,000, Full-time, M-F Daytime, Evenings/Weekends as needed. Flexible schedule and Paid time off.
