Job Description:
Qualification & Experience:
Essential:
- BA/FA/FSc from an HEC recognized University/Board with 03-05 years of experience in the relevant field.
Desirable:
- BS with 5-10 years of experience in the relevant field.
Key Responsibilities:
- To assist Manager (Hostel) for smooth functioning of Hostel.
- To remain present on duty in hostel 24/7.
- To maintain the record of hostel allotment rooms / beds.
- To maintain the records and ensure safety of fixtures, furniture and other items of store.
- To check daily the requirement of repair and maintenance in hostel building and report to Manager (Hostel).
- To fulfil day to day requirement of occupants as per SOP.
- Responsible for good housekeeping in respected Hostel.
- Maintain duplicate keys of all rooms in Hostel.
- Supervise the work of sanitary workers.
- Maintain cleanliness of hostel building and its premises.
- Responsible for the maintenance of Hostel building i.e. electrical, plumbing, civil, carpenter and aluminum work.
- To switch extra electric lights in early morning and evening for preservation of energy.
- To ensure and maintain the record of Hostelite’s attendance.
- Will perform any duty assign by AD Hostels & DD Hostels
- Receiving of student’s parcels / letters and their delivery.
- Accompanies the student on referrals to hospitals
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
- Computer Literate
- House Keeping
- Management Skills
- Negotiation Skills
Training/Certification:
- Computer Literate (Excel, MS Word, Power Point / certified
Terms and Conditions:-

- Last education certificate/degree must be attested/verified by HEC.

- 3rd Div in academic career / weak academic profile.
- NUST employees with less than one year of service with NUST and / or absence of NOC from Head of Institution.
- In process of pursuing a required degree.
- Medically unfit.
- Only selected candidates will be contacted and issued offer letter.
- Late / incomplete applications will be ignored.
- Only short-listed candidates will be considered / called for test / interview and no TA / DA will be admissible.
