Senior Category Manager – Buying & Merchandising

About the Role:
We are looking for an experienced professional to lead buying, merchandising, and category management in FMCG/Retail. The role involves vendor management, negotiations, and driving category growth through effective assortment and pricing strategies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage end-to-end buying and category ownership for assigned products.
• Develop assortment plans, ensure timely procurement, and optimize stock levels.
• Negotiate with vendors on pricing, margins, and payment terms.
• Monitor consumer trends, competitor activity, and market opportunities.
• Collaborate with supply chain, marketing, and store operations for seamless execution.

Requirements:

• 8–12 years of experience in FMCG/Retail buying, sourcing, or category management.
• Proven negotiation and vendor management skills.
• Strong commercial acumen and analytical ability.
• Graduate/Postgraduate in Business, Retail Management, or related field.
