JOB TITLE

Senior Category Manager | Majid Al Futtaim Global Solutions | Procurement

ROLE SUMMARY

This role involves leading the sourcing of products and services for all operating companies across various countries within the Food and Beverage category. The position ensures alignment with strategic procurement initiatives developed at the central office while managing both tactical execution and long-term sourcing strategies. It also plays a critical role in delivering cost efficiencies, supplier performance, and procurement transformation objectives.

ROLE PROFILE

• Collaborate with the central team to implement strategic plans and annual budgets for the Food and Beverage category.
• Design and execute sourcing strategies that comply with legal, policy, and business requirements.
• Lead complex sourcing projects, ensuring timely delivery aligned with development milestones.
• Drive cost improvement through consolidation, standardization, and scope management.
• Evaluate supplier proposals and calculate total cost of ownership to support decision-making.
• Negotiate pricing and finalize commercial agreements in coordination with the legal team.
• Build and manage supplier relationships, including monitoring performance.
• Support continuous improvement in procurement processes and ensure effective stakeholder engagement.

REQUIREMENTS

• 15–17 yrs of procurement experience, 7–10 yrs in a similar F&B leadership role
• Proven expertise in spend analysis, contract management , supplier negotiations & sourcing tools
• Strong skills in communication, problem-solving & team leadership
• Bachelor's degree required; professional certs (e.g., CIPS/CSCP) preferred
