Senior Civil Engineer

Note: Candiidate based in UAE are preferred.

Experience Required:

• Overall: Minimum 10 years of professional experience in Civil Engineering.
• UAE/Dubai: 3–4 years of proven experience in residential tower construction and PMC (Project Management Consultancy) assignments.

Job Responsibilities:

• Oversee and manage all site construction activities for residential tower projects, ensuring compliance with design, safety, and quality standards.
• Coordinate with consultants, contractors, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure timely execution of works.
• Review technical drawings, plans, and specifications, and provide engineering solutions when required.
• Monitor project progress, prepare status reports, and ensure adherence to timelines and budgets.
• Ensure compliance with Dubai Municipality regulations, local authority requirements, and international construction standards.
• Manage and supervise contractors’ activities, ensuring strict quality control and adherence to HSE (Health, Safety & Environment) policies.
• Liaise with PMC teams, providing engineering support, progress updates, and technical guidance.
• Conduct inspections, quality checks, and verification of construction materials and workmanship.
• Assist in resolving on-site technical issues, conflicts, and deviations from approved designs.
• Prepare documentation, including daily site reports, progress reports, method statements, and quality assurance records.

Key Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering
• Minimum 10 years of professional experience, including 3–4 years in Dubai/UAE residential tower construction and PMC roles.
• Strong knowledge of structural works, finishing, MEP coordination, and project execution.
• Familiarity with Dubai Municipality, DDA, Trakhees, and other UAE authority approvals.
• Excellent project management, problem-solving, and leadership skills.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Project/Primavera, and MS Office Suite.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with high-rise residential tower projects.
• Strong background in quality assurance, safety compliance, and risk management.
• Ability to handle multiple contractors and consultants simultaneously.
• Knowledge of local procurement and material approval processes.
