The Senior Civil Engineer will be responsible for planning, designing, and overseeing construction and maintenance of building structures and infrastructure. The role requires in-depth technical expertise, strong project management skills, and the ability to lead civil works for large-scale projects ensuring quality, safety, and cost efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage civil engineering projects from conception to completion, including planning, design, estimation, and execution.
- Supervise and coordinate with contractors, consultants, and site teams to ensure adherence to specifications, timelines, and quality standards.
- Conduct structural analysis, design validation, and ensure compliance with building codes and safety regulations.
- Review and approve civil drawings, design documents, BOQs, and material specifications.
- Oversee civil maintenance, renovation, and modification works for existing facilities and infrastructure.
- Manage site inspections, quality audits, and ensure compliance with statutory and company safety standards.
- Prepare project schedules, cost estimates, and progress reports for management review.
- Coordinate with MEP, architectural, and other engineering teams for integrated project execution.
- Handle vendor management, tendering, and negotiation for civil-related works.
- Ensure sustainable and cost-effective engineering practices in design and construction.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering (Master’s preferred).
- 12–15 years of proven experience in construction, infrastructure, or facility projects.
- Strong knowledge of structural design, RCC/steel works, finishing, and waterproofing.
- Experience in managing large-scale commercial, industrial, or institutional projects.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Project / Primavera, and other relevant civil engineering software.
- Familiarity with local building codes, safety, and environmental regulations.
