Job Summary

CONIN International Consultants is seeking a qualified and experienced Senior Civil Engineer to join our growing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising civil construction works, ensuring compliance with approved drawings, specifications, quality standards, project schedules, and applicable UAE regulations.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and monitor civil construction activities on-site.
• Review civil drawings, specifications, shop drawings, and method statements.
• Conduct site inspections to ensure compliance with approved drawings, contract specifications, and quality standards.
• Review and verify contractors' inspection requests and ensure timely inspections.
• Review and recommend approval of material submittals related to civil works.
• Coordinate with the Resident Engineer, project managers, architects, MEP engineers, contractors, subcontractors, and relevant authorities.
• Monitor project progress and ensure work is completed in accordance with approved schedules.
• Identify construction issues and recommend appropriate corrective actions.
• Prepare site reports, inspection reports, non-conformance reports, and progress updates.
• Ensure compliance with local authority requirements, contract specifications, health and safety regulations, and quality management systems.
• Attend technical and progress meetings and provide engineering support throughout project execution.
• Mentor junior engineers and site inspectors when required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering.
• Minimum 10+ years of experience in civil construction supervision and consultancy projects in the UAE.
• Strong knowledge of UAE construction standards, authority regulations, and engineering practices.
• Experience in reviewing shop drawings, material submittals, and method statements.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Microsoft Office, and project management software.
• Excellent communication, coordination, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
• UAE consultancy experience is preferred.
• UAE Driving License is an advantage.
