Key Responsibilities

Tender Management:
Analyze tender documents, specifications, and drawings to prepare complete, compliant technical and commercial bids.

Cost Estimation & Quantification:
Perform detailed quantity take-offs for civil/structural works and establish, analyze, and finalize costs for materials, labor, and equipment.

Supplier/Subcontractor Negotiation:
Issue RFQs, evaluate vendor proposals, and negotiate competitive pricing.

Site Evaluation:
Visit project sites to assess conditions, constraints, and requirements, preparing comprehensive site visit reports.

Risk & Value Engineering:
Identify potential risks, cost-saving opportunities, and alternatives to optimize project profitability.

Budgeting & Reporting:
Monitor project costs against budgets, prepare cost reports, and maintain updated cost databases.
Required Qualifications & Skills

Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management.

Experience:
Generally 7-10+ years of experience in estimation, tendering, and cost control within the construction industry.

Software Proficiency:
Strong skills in MS Office (especially Excel), AutoCAD, and industry-specific estimation software like CANDY.

Technical Knowledge:
Deep understanding of civil engineering principles, construction methods, and building codes.

Skills:
Excellent communication, negotiation, and analytical skills, with the ability to lead and mentor junior team member
