
Senior Civil & Structural Engineer
- Develop and review civil and structural designs for new installations, modifications, and upgrades.
- Perform structural analysis using industry-standard software (e.g., STAAD.Pro).
- Prepare detailed engineering drawings, specifications, and calculations.
- Ensure designs comply with international codes (e.g., API, AISC, ASCE, Eurocode) and client standards.
- Provide engineering support during construction, commissioning, and operation phases.
- Provide technical advice with calculation for the steel structure rack that support lifting and tensioning activities on site.
- Review contractor submittals and ensure alignment with design intent.
- Participate in site surveys and feasibility studies for new projects.
- Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams including mechanical, electrical, and process engineers.
- Conduct structural integrity assessments and risk-based inspections.
- Support maintenance planning and execution for civil and structural assets.
- Recommend repair strategies and oversee remediation works.
- Maintain records of inspections, assessments, and modifications.
- Ensure all civil and structural activities adhere to HSE policies and procedures.
- Participate in hazard identification and risk assessments.
- Promote safe engineering practices and contribute to incident investigations.
- Ensure compliance with local regulations, environmental standards, and permitting requirements.
- Liaise with regulatory bodies and third-party auditors as needed.
- Prepare technical reports, progress updates, and engineering documentation.
- Maintain accurate records of design changes, inspection findings, and asset condition.
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil & Structural Engineering.
- Professional Engineering License or equivalent certification is a plus.
- 7+ years of experience in oil and gas or heavy industrial sectors.
- Proficiency in structural analysis and CAD software.
- Excellent communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills.
