Senior Commercial Analyst

📌 𝗗𝗲𝘀𝗰𝗿𝗶𝗽𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻:

We are seeking a results-driven Senior Commercial Analyst to join our dynamic team, focusing on our remittances and wallet products. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for transforming complex data into actionable insights that guide strategic business decisions. You will closely monitor commercial performance, analyze transaction trends, and identify key growth opportunities and potential risks. Working collaboratively with commercial, product, technology, and operations teams, you will track and report on essential KPIs. Your expertise will directly support pricing strategies, revenue optimization, and product performance enhancements. This position requires supporting cross-functional initiatives by gathering business requirements and coordinating UAT. The ideal candidate will be instrumental in preparing compelling dashboards and presentations for senior stakeholders, ensuring data-driven strategies are at the forefront of our growth.

🎯 𝗥𝗲𝗾𝘂𝗶𝗿𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘀:

▸ 5+ years of experience in commercial analytics, business intelligence, or a similar data-focused role.

▸ Significant experience within the Financial Services or banking industry is strongly preferred.

▸ Proven ability to analyze large datasets related to transactions and customer behavior to extract meaningful insights.

▸ Demonstrated experience in supporting pricing, revenue optimization, or strategic growth initiatives with data analysis.

▸ Strong proficiency with SQL for complex data querying and manipulation.

▸ Experience using business intelligence and visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or Looker.

▸ Experience in gathering business requirements (writing BRDs) and coordinating User Acceptance Testing (UAT).

▸ Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.

✨ 𝗗𝗲𝘀𝗶𝗿𝗮𝗯𝗹𝗲𝘀:

▸ Direct experience with remittance, digital wallet, or cross-border payment products.

▸ Working knowledge of a statistical programming language like Python (with Pandas, NumPy) or R.

▸ Experience building financial models or forecasts.

▸ Strong presentation skills with experience communicating complex data to senior leadership.

▸ Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development methodologies.
