CV Development Partners is seeking an exceptional Commercial Construction Superintendent to lead field operations for major commercial projects within the Copper Valley master-planned community.

We are looking for a top-tier superintendent who takes pride in running highly organized jobsites, maintaining aggressive schedules, and delivering outstanding construction quality.

If you are currently running projects for a commercial general contractor and want the opportunity to work directly with a developer on long-term projects, this role offers the chance to help shape a growing destination community that includes hospitality, recreation, retail, and mixed-use development.

This position is ideal for a high-accountability superintendent who wants ownership of their jobsite and the opportunity to build multiple projects over a multi-year development program.

Key ResponsibilitiesField Leadership

  • Lead all onsite construction operations from mobilization through completion.
  • Direct subcontractors and field staff to maintain efficient production and schedule adherence.
  • Maintain a well-organized, professional, and high-performance jobsite environment.
  • Ensure construction meets plans, specifications, and company standards.

Schedule & Production Management

  • Develop and drive detailed construction schedules.
  • Maintain aggressive schedule performance while protecting quality and safety.
  • Identify schedule risks early and implement recovery strategies.

Subcontractor Leadership

  • Manage and coordinate multiple subcontractor trades.
  • Lead weekly subcontractor coordination meetings.
  • Hold trade partners accountable for manpower, production, safety, and schedule commitments.

Quality Control

  • Maintain high construction quality standards throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Conduct regular inspections and manage punch lists.
  • Ensure projects are delivered cleanly and professionally.

Safety Leadership

  • Enforce safety protocols and maintain OSHA compliance.Conduct regular safety meetings and jobsite audits.

Project Coordination

  • Coordinate closely with project managers, architects, engineers, and consultants.
  • Manage inspections and agency coordination.
  • Maintain daily reports and documentation.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

This role is measured by project execution performance, including:

Schedule Performance

  • Maintain milestone completion dates
  • Deliver projects on or ahead of schedule

Production Efficiency

  • Maintain trade productivity consistent with schedule targets
  • Minimize schedule delays and downtime

Quality Performance

  • Limited punch list items at project turnoverMinimal rework and construction defects

Safety Performance

  • Maintain a strong jobsite safety culture
  • Zero major safety violations or incidents

Subcontractor Coordination

  • Effective trade sequencing and coordination
  • Strong subcontractor accountability

Project Organization

  • Accurate daily reporting
  • Clean, organized jobsite management

Top-performing superintendents who consistently deliver strong KPI results will be positioned for long-term leadership roles within the development program.

Required Experience

  • 8+ years commercial construction experience
  • 5+ years as a Superintendent
  • Experience leading $5M – $50M+ commercial projects
  • Strong knowledge of commercial construction methods
  • Ability to manage multiple subcontractor trades simultaneously
  • Strong ability to maintain construction schedules
  • Ability to read and interpret construction plans and specifications

Preferred Experience

Experience with the following project types is highly desirable:

  • Hospitality or resort developments
  • Clubhouses or recreational facilities
  • Retail or mixed-use buildings
  • Destination community developments

Experience working for commercial general contractors or developer-builders is strongly preferred.
