Join SESC and Lead Complex Commissioning Projects Across the GCC and beyond
SESC is seeking an experienced Senior Commissioning Engineer to lead multidisciplinary commissioning activities on a major mision critical project in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
This is an immediate opportunity for a technically strong commissioning professional who can lead a site team, coordinate with clients and contractors, and deliver commissioning activities to the highest industry standards.
While the successful candidate will initially be assigned to a project in Saudi Arabia for approximately six months, this is not a project-only position. We are recruiting for a long-term career with SESC, with future opportunities across the GCC and beyond as our business continues to grow.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead electrical, mechanical, and ELV commissioning activities from pre-commissioning through final handover.
- Coordinate daily commissioning activities with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and project teams.
- Lead and mentor multidisciplinary commissioning engineers and technicians on site.
- Review commissioning procedures, method statements, ITPs, and testing documentation.
- Witness and oversee functional performance testing (FPT), integrated systems testing (IST), and system demonstrations.
- Manage commissioning schedules and ensure milestones are achieved.
- Identify technical issues, coordinate corrective actions, and drive timely resolution.
- Prepare commissioning reports, progress updates, and final handover documentation.
- Ensure all commissioning activities comply with project specifications, international standards, and client requirements.
- Promote safe working practices and maintain high QA/QC standards throughout project execution.
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related Engineering discipline.
- UAE MOFA-attested four-year Bachelor's Degree (required).
- Minimum 7 years of commissioning experience within large-scale MEP projects in GCC.
- Previous experience leading commissioning teams on complex projects.
- Strong understanding of commissioning documentation and project close-out processes.
- Experience coordinating with consultants, contractors, and client representatives.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- Willing to be assigned to Saudi Arabia for the duration of the current project assignment.

Knowledge of:
- HVAC systems
- Chilled water systems
- Electrical LV/MV systems
- Fire Alarm
- ELV Systems
- Building Management Systems (BMS)
- Testing & Commissioning procedures
- Integrated Systems Testing (IST)
- Functional Performance Testing (FPT)
