Senior Construction Cost Estimator (UK Market)

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Construction Cost Estimator with proven expertise in preparing accurate project costings for diverse construction projects across the UK market. The ideal candidate will have a strong track record in take-offs, material pricing, and full project cost estimation, ensuring projects are delivered on budget and aligned with industry standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed quantity take-offs and cost estimations for residential, commercial, and infrastructure projects.
• Develop and maintain comprehensive cost databases for materials, labour, and subcontractor services.
• Analyse project drawings, specifications, and tender documents to produce accurate estimates.
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and procurement teams to validate cost assumptions.
• Provide risk analysis and value engineering recommendations to optimise project costs.
• Stay updated with UK construction market trends, material prices, and supplier rates.
• Prepare and present estimation reports to stakeholders and senior management.

Requirements

• Minimum 5+ years of experience in construction cost estimation within the UK market.
• Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and pricing structures.
• Proficiency in estimation software/tools (e.g., CostX, Bluebeam, or similar).
• Excellent analytical, numerical, and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deliver under tight deadlines.
• Familiarity with UK building regulations and industry standards.

Preferred Qualifications

• Degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or Civil Engineering.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Rs150,000.00 - Rs250,000.00 per month
