About Capital Projects Consulting Practice

In a time of ever-evolving physical infrastructure needs, as well as historical levels of planned investment in infrastructure projects, Protiviti’s Capital Projects Consulting services helps the various government and private sector clients to better strategize, plan, deliver the projects and thereon efficiently operate the assets. We help our clients fully understand the risks inherent in managing their business to appropriately mitigate them and provide leading practice processes to make large capital decisions with confidence. We also help improve their institutional and project-level governance mechanisms, to enable enhanced decision making and operational effectiveness & efficiency.

We’re a team of sectoral enthusiasts with multi-dimensional skillsets (such as Engineering, Project-Management, Business Administration, Chartered Accountants) spread across UAE, KSA, Bahrain and Qatar. We’re now looking for candidates with prior experience with consulting firm in leading / delivering managing advisory assignments – including but not limited to Strategic advisory, Governance advisory, Operational Target Operating Model, Time and Cost optimization, Programme Management, Business Process Transformations and Change Management.

Key Responsibilities

In this role, you will actively work with our clients to understand their business challenges and provide advisory solutions to improve operations, enhance performance, and foster growth. You will actively contribute towards (or lead) assignments focusing on Strategic advisory, Governance advisory, Operational Target Operating Model, Time and Cost optimization, Programme Management, Business Process Transformations and Change Management.
You will be expected to independently drive the assignments and lead client interactions, and conduct high-quality and research-based assessments, to offer industry-leading advice to clients. You would be preparing clear and compelling reports and presentations for clients, including data analysis, recommendations, and actionable insights.
Dealing with competing priorities, understanding how to manage clients’ expectations/timelines, and communicating effectively are key skills.
You will be required to take complete accountability of the allocated tasks / modules / assignments.
Work as a team member, sharing responsibility, providing support, maintaining communication, and updating senior team members on progress, help prepare for meetings with target management teams, and participate in these meetings and assist in preparing reports and schedules for clients and other parties.
You will be primarily serving our clients across the Middle East region.
You are also anticipated to have a large amount of interaction with the other Protiviti’s lines of services (such as Technology Consulting, Risk and Compliance, Data & Digital teams, etc.) which requires a high-level understanding of the wider Protiviti’s offering and trends outside your core area of expertise.
You will be expected to build and maintain positive, productive, and professional relationships with clients and colleagues.
You will also be responsible for business development efforts within the organization to bring in additional business opportunities and promote Protiviti-BPI’s brand image across the region.

Experience and Qualification required

Qualified Engineer / MBA / CA or equivalent.
3-7 years’ experience in delivering Strategic advisory, Governance advisory, Operational Target Operating Model, Time and Cost optimization, Programme Management, Business Process Transformations and Change Management programs.
Experience across sectors such as Real Estate, Government, Infrastructure, Tourism and Culture, and Sports. We also welcome candidates working across other industries but must have an exceptional advisory skillset.
Exposure / Understanding of relevant modules ERPs such as Dynamics, CRM, SAP, Oracle etc.
Expert level of proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other advisory tools, as applicable.
Ability to identify key issues and potential risks to make recommendations to address problems.
Lean Six Sigma or related certifications shall be preferred.
