Role Overview

We are looking for a Senior Consultant – Cybersecurity with strong technical and consulting expertise, fluent Japanese language proficiency, and the ability to lead and deliver complex cybersecurity engagements. This individual will play a key role in security architecture, compliance, and consulting assignments while mentoring junior consultants and engaging with stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver complex cybersecurity engagements independently or as a lead consultant.
• Act as a technical escalation point to assist other consultants.
• Lead the creation, development, and delivery of custom security solutions.
• Drive security and compliance program development and implementation efforts.
• Design, implement, and educate on specific security processes.
• Provide knowledge transfer and post-engagement support activities.
• Mentor less experienced consultants and support practice development.
• Contribute to internal training, awareness, and cyber strategy initiatives.
• Consistently complete administrative project tasks like time and expense entry, status reporting, and project completion reporting.

Mandatory Requirements (Must Have)

• Fluent Japanese language proficiency.
• Experience in cybersecurity companies only.
• Certification: ISO 27001 or CISSP (at least one).
• Proven experience in security architecture & consulting.
• Strong expertise in networking, operating systems (Windows/UNIX/mainframe), firewalls, IDS/IPS.
• Knowledge of scripting/programming languages (C, Java, Perl, Shell).
• Hands-on experience in vulnerability assessments, incident response, policy creation, and governance.
• Strong understanding of regulatory frameworks (PCI DSS, GLBA, Basel II, EU Data Protection, US State Privacy Laws).
• Excellent client-facing and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to mentor, lead projects, and work in diverse teams.
• Willingness to travel as per business/project requirements.

Good-to-Have Skills

• Professional certifications such as CISM, CISA, CEH, or equivalent.
• Exposure to cloud security platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Experience in data privacy & cross-border compliance projects.
• Advanced skills in automation, scripting, or security orchestration.
• Previous consulting experience with global clients.
• Active participation in professional associations (ISACA, ISC2, etc.).

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹4,200,000.00 - ₹4,500,000.00 per year
