Senior Consultant Process Automation

Summary:


We are seeking an experienced Process Engineer to lead and optimize the Testing Center of Excellence (TCoE) and drive quality engineering maturity initiatives across the organization. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with TMMi (Test Maturity Model integration), quality process assessments, test strategy standardization, and testing-related certifications (e.g., ISTQB, TMMi). This role will be instrumental in establishing robust, scalable, and compliant QA frameworks across projects and teams.

Responsibilities:


Test CoE Development & Governance

  • Establish and continuously improve the Testing Center of Excellence (TCoE) framework, including structure, processes, KPIs, and governance models.

  • Define and enforce standardized testing processes (manual, automation, performance, security, UAT, etc.) across Agile and Waterfall environments.

  • Develop test policies, procedures, and templates aligned with industry standards and regulatory requirements.

TMMi & Process Maturity

  • Lead TMMi assessments and roadmap planning to achieve and sustain TMMi Level 2–5 maturity.

  • Conduct gap analysis and drive process improvements based on TMMi findings.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement maturity initiatives, train staff, and institutionalize process improvements.

Certifications & Compliance

  • Ensure compliance with internal QA policies and relevant industry regulatory standards (e.g., finance, healthcare, telco).

  • Maintain process documentation and ensure audit readiness for QA activities.

Tooling & Integration

  • Work with tooling teams to integrate test management tools (e.g., Jira, Tosca, ALM, Xray, Zephyr) into process workflows.

  • Recommend and support the adoption of predictive analytics, risk-based testing, and AI/ML-enabled QA tools.

Training & Change Management

  • Design and deliver QA process training and mentorship programs to enhance testing capabilities across teams.

  • Act as a change agent for quality transformation initiatives across global delivery centers.



Qualifications:


  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Quality Management, or related field.

  • 5+ years in Quality Engineering, with 3+ years in a process or CoE leadership role.

  • Proven experience in establishing or managing a Testing CoE.

  • Hands-on experience with the TMMi framework, having led or supported a TMMi Level 2–5 assessment.

  • Strong knowledge of testing standards and models (TMMi, CMMI-QE, ISO/IEC 29119, ISTQB).

  • Experience in process audit, documentation, and continuous improvement.

  • Familiarity with Agile, DevOps, CI/CD, and QA tools integration.
